Mattson Culbert is our special guest on this weeks Ho Stevie Surf Show episode. Mattson has helped us with some product shoots in the past and is a dear friend of the show. On this episode we discuss Mattson and Shane’s deep roots in Southern California and how we grew up in a lot of the same 805 areas/communities, so follow us as we dive into how he got into surf photography, how his subjects have shifted in recent years, talk story about some of his favorite memories from his time in San Diego, and as he opens up about a recent Thyroid Cancer diagnosis(which at the time of posting he is now in remission from).
